The items are ordered as follows:

- 1st item (by ordering) from 1st category (by id)
- 1st item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by id)
- 1st item (by ordering) from 3rd category (by id)
- .................................................................
- .................................................................
- 2nd item (by ordering) from 1st category (by id)
- 2nd item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by id)
- 2nd item (by ordering) from 3rd category (by id)
- .................................................................
- .................................................................
- 3rd item (by ordering) from 1st category (by id)
- 3rd item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by id)
- 3rd item (by ordering) from 3rd category (by id)
- .................................................................

and so on...

Do you have another idea of how items should be ordered?

In fact what I see is :

- 1st item (by ordering) from 1st category (by what ? not by ID?)
- 2nd item (by ordering) from 1st category (by what ? not by ID?)
- 3rd item (by ordering) from 1st category (by what ? not by ID?)
- .................................................................
- .................................................................
- 1st item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by what ? not by ID?)
- 2nd item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by what ? not by ID?)
- 3rd item (by ordering) from 2nd category (by what ? not by ID?)
- .................................................................

I would like to know "by what" for the categories...

I just released a new version (3.3.4) where the items will be ordered as follows:

Thanks Yannis, I updated the module and cleaned cache but nothing changed in categories ordering.
Did I miss something ?

You did not miss anything. It was my mistake; a small error in the code. I have replaced version 3.3.4.

If you have installed it to other websites too, you must manually re-download version 3.3.4 and install it again in those websites.
